“Seychelles needs a choice to have a balanced view of the ongoing developments in the islands. Often an interview after an official meeting will see only selected politicians called on to echo their views as was the case after the last Electoral Commission meeting with political parties. We felt such practices, especially during an election year, remain unacceptable and echoes a bias and unfair approach. Choice is the main ingredient for a democratic society and with Zilwa publication we are hoping to play our part in disseminating views that are too often silenced to keep the island's flame of democracy alive.”
